In an increasingly globalised world, we understand the need for language proficiency and the importance of professional and academic preparation in other countries. For this reason, in addition to promoting bilingualism, Colegio Árula also provides students with the opportunity to study languages abroad through an exchange programme with schools in the United States, Germany, and Poland through the CBC project in English (Cooperative Bilingual Schools). These exchanges are arranged during the school year and are intended for Secondary Education and Baccalaureate students.

United States

Colegio Árula is pleased to offer its students the opportunity to spend a few days in the United States and to forge a friendship with American students. The American school with which the exchange is made is located in Charlottesville, Virginia. In this way, the students have had the chance to live a fantastic experience and have put into practice everything they have learned in their English class.

The Colegio Árula Language Department has been organising an annual student exchange with the IGS in Langenhagen (Hanover) for the past four years. Our students, from 2nd and 3rd year of secondary school, first welcome a German student in their homes for a week and then fly to Hanover at the end of the school year. During these days, the young participants take part in excursions, attend classes in a country other than their own, and discover a new culture, thus enjoying an unforgettable experience.

The main objective of the language department is that students put into practice everything they learn in English classes. Therefore, the language department organises a cultural exchange in English with the school III Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Krzysztofa Kamila Baczyńskiego at Białystok, Poland. In this beautiful, city our 25 students live together for a week with 25 Polish students enjoying a unique experience, practicing their English, and also growing from a personal point of view by nourishing themselves with a new culture.
